Letting out
“Letting out” a garment means skillfully expanding certain areas by releasing seams and using any extra fabric hidden inside the lining or seam allowance. It’s the opposite of “taking in”—instead of making something smaller, we’re giving you more room to breathe, move, and feel comfortable.
Our Checks
We check every garment for available seam allowances and carefully plan how much extra width or length we can safely add without changing the look or structure of your clothes.
Our experienced team uses precise techniques to open seams, press them flat, and resew everything so the adjustments are invisible from the outside. If the original fabric isn’t enough, we can sometimes add matching inserts or panels, making sure the style stays on point.
