Recliner Chair Cover | Ella’s Alterations

This is my husband's recliner. For who knows what the reason why, our cat love to use it as a scratching post. We have two of this recliner sitting next to each other. But Kiwi(the cat) always picks his to scratch. Now it does not look nice. He asked me to make a cover for it.

You can not buy any ready made pattern at the store like you can when you want to make a dress when you want to sew a cover for a recliner.

So I measured the recliner and made my own pattern with newspaper.
